Althea Rooms - Florence

I was mildly entertained by the cozy decor, but the room's bizarre layout was an accident waiting to happen-hurdling over slopes isn't my idea of 'luxury'. The AC was unresponsive, just like the staff's attention to my evident discomfort. A complimentary bottle of wine would've gone a long way. Unfortunately, it didn't happen. I almost wrote a good review, but i just couldn't.

Good staff, good acomodation.

the hotel rooms are air-conditioned and beautifully maintained with a double bed and a big bathroom, as example. the staff are easygoing and offer wake up calls and ironing free of charge.

Really good cleanliness with thoughtful little touches.

Our experience here was nice. The room was spotless, had climate control, a hair dryer, and a safe box. Got the view of city. Location: the hotel was close enough to cafes, shops and restaurants, a quiet area and the Boboli garden & Ponte Vecchio. Spent a nice evening at Osteria Santo Spirito, located a short walk from the venue. The service was excellent throughout our stay.

If one needs a place to sleep, shower and an internet connection, Althea Rooms is perfectly adequate. Tony is very helpfull and efficient.

suoper friendly and super helpful english speaking staff spotless quiet fantastioc location - central but away from TOURIST infestation plaguing florence lots of hot water in decent shower and a fridge and umbrellas and a free internet COMPUTER IN THE ACTUAL ROOM !!!!! windows onto (quiet) street LOVED IT AT THIS PLACE - THE ONLY PLACE I WOULD EVER AGAN STAY IN FLORENCE. but it is not fancy and atmospheric and all that, so if you are looking for that, stay in an expensive hotel.

room was very small and and had an amazing awkward layout but one eventually got used to that. the other rooms are probably less awkward

The room was super clean and had nice touches like coffee and pastries waiting for me. It was peaceful. There was a cozy lounge area for relaxation. The only minor issue was the room size, but it had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable 😊

Location is good, quiet area, everything is very close, just 5-10min from Ponte Veccio. And the best pizza restaurant MUNAcielo just 5min walk. And staff is really friendly. Thank you!

The staff is very very friendly! He showed us all the facilities in the room and told me all the attraction and good resteraunt around. The location is also good, one can easily reach almost all places of visit within walking distance. There is PC in the room, which is convenient.

The air-conditioning machine is actually not a real one. You have to add water to that machine to make your room cool. It is thus not very powerful and maybe incomfortable to stay during hot summer.
